Playgrounds and Paint
Over the last week or so, the school has been a regular hive of activity. We have had a number of pre-apprentice painters from MPA Plumbing and Skills in Maylands re-paint our 'old' junior primary playground, as well as paint our school toilet areas as part of the Schools Toilet Project. On behalf of the school, I would like to thank Mr Stephen Delaney and his merry crew for their efforts over the last two weeks.
Work has also commenced on the construction of the new nature play spaces around the school with a new 'mud' kitchen installed in the Pre-primary and the central nature play space between the senior and junior playgrounds starting to take shape. Furthermore, a crew of painters have been busy in the school re-painting the verandah posts, school flagpoles, light poles and shade structures in the central courtyard. Work on all these projects will be complete over the summer break for our students to enjoy.
