Tummy Rumbles Canteen

The P&C operate the Tummy Rumbles canteen 5 days per week and offers recess and lunch items. The canteen receives no funding and relies on sales and the generosity of volunteers to continue to operate.

Ordering

Online orders are preferred and can be placed online via Qkr!. Orders need to be placed by 9.00am on the day the order is required and can be made up to 2 weeks in advance. If ordering with cash, please place the correct money inside a sealed envelope or lunch bag with your child's name, classroom and order on the front and place in the classroom lunch basket. No credit is available.

The counter will be open for students at recess and lunch but no lunch orders will be accepted at the counter in the morning.

Volunteer

The P&C are always seeking volunteers to work in the Tummy Rumbles school canteen. It's fun, easy and a great way to meet others in the school community. Your child will love seeing you in the canteen.

If you can help once a week, once a fortnight or only once a year, we would love to add you to the canteen helper roster.

Please contact the canteen to add your name to the roster. The fabulous canteen regulars Pia, Helen and Charlotte will show you what to do – just wear covered shoes.

Spare fruit

Overflowing with fruit? Putting a call out there to families that have fruit to spare from a tree or perhaps just purchased too many for the week during your grocery shop, the canteen accepts donated fruit for the students. Apples and pears will be turned into "slinkies" and oranges cut up into wedges and offered to the kids for FREE. Even over ripe bananas are used to make delicious muffins. There is no waste in the canteen!

No More Plastic Forks

Canteen staff will no longer add a fork to meal orders. Students need to supply one from home. If you forget, students may come to the canteen to borrow one but please return it.
