Gardening Group

Last week, small groups of students started working in the garden again. To begin with, they planted seedlings of winter vegetables such as broad beans, kale and lettuces in compostable pots. It was great to work in the new nursery area behind the JB Block on very professional looking potting benches! Later, the students weeded the garden beds and aerated the compost bins. Good fun! Hopefully, soon, with restrictions being eased, we can have more gardening groups up and running again.

Thanks to our gardners, Bruce and Sebastian, who spent a lot of time rejuvenating the garden area and setting up the overhead reticulation for the warmer months.
