On Monday, 17 October, to celebrate and promote Bike Month, we held a ride your bike/scooter to school day. It was another resounding success with many families opting to ride to school on this beautiful, sunny morning.
As the students rolled in, they were greeted with a freshly baked muffin and a piece of fruit. Thank you to the school canteen for providing the delicious muffins and to Maylands IGA for kindly donating over 100 pieces of fruit. All students who rode to school also went into the draw to win some cool prizes. The draw took place at last Friday’s school assembly with three lucky students claiming their prizes. Thanks also go out to the amazing Your Move student team who all did their bit to help the event run smoothly.
With over 130 students making their way to school on their bikes, we can't wait until the next event. We also look forward to seeing more people riding to school regularly after discovering just how easy it is.
