Outdoor Classroom
Many parents/caregivers would have noticed that work has commenced on the Outdoor Classroom concept between JB Block and Kelvin Street earlier this week. The crew from Project Scape have cleared out the area and installed the Six Seasons poles along the brick path, constructed a tepee and installed the arbour entrances at each end of the crushed red earth pathway. In the coming week, the tiered yarning circle area will be constructed underneath the large eucalypt, the dry creek bed will be completed and the standing tables that the students will use throughout the space will be installed. I would like to acknowledge the support of Patrick Gorman- MHR for Perth and the P&C who have contributed the funds for the works. I look forward to seeing our students and staff making use of the space in the not too distant future
